She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Chapman and Dorothy Chapman (Shehorn); and her sister Faith Newyear. She is survived by: her husband Kelley Vallette; her children, Josh Downen (Deanna) of Geff, IL, Steven Vallette of Grayville, IL and Kimberley VanMatre of Rural Albion, IL.; her grandchildren, Graysen, Raylan, Marlee Downen of Geff, IL, Kaylie Vallette, Kylar VanMatre of Rural Albion, IL, Ashton, Kalesi and Easton Vallette of Grayville, IL.; her siblings, Terry Chapman (Patti) of Effingham, IL, Jeff Chapman (Helen) of Athens, TN, Jacqueline Churchwell (Nate) of Suisin City, CA and Carol Mockapetris (Pete) of Beach Park, IL; and her aunt Maryann Kirgan (Along) of Salem, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
