Betty Leathers Ellis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Leathers Ellis of Albion, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Leathers and Lillie E. Leathers (Brown); her husband Robert L. 'Bob Ellis, Sr.; her son Robert Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sharlyn; and her siblings, Loreta, Bonnie, Donna, Robert, Bill, Jerry and Jack.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy (Clyde Mullinnax) of Fairfield, IL; her sisters, Shirley Stevens of Flora, IL and Jeanne Leathers of Fairfield, IL; her grandchildren, Robert Ellis III (Francie) of Albion, IL, Chris Ellis (Lee) of Chandler, IN, Jeremy Ellis of Albion, IL and Josh Mullinax of Ft. Smith, AK; and her brother-in-law Dee Thompson of Rinard, IL.. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law.
Memorials may be given to Edwards County Senior Citizens or Wayne County Humane Society and will be accepted at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
