With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Thuenemann of Albers, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William "Bill"; her husband Robert B. "Bob" Thuenemann; her brother Erwin Santel; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Mollett and Jeff Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kruep (Mark) of Breese, Wayne Thuenemann (Connie) of Albers and Pam Baker (John) of Marissa; her grandchildren, Sarah Maschhoff (Chris), Ashley Clark (Matt), Jessie Winkeler (Ken), Nick Thuenemann (Jackie), Amber Harriman (John) and Carleigh Baker (Clint); her stepgrandsons, Nathan Baker (Salena), Philip Baker and Stephen Baker; her great grandchildren, Owen Clark, Slone, Easton Winkeler, Aften, Cale Thuenemann, Emma, Henry and Amelia Harriman; her stepgreat-grandson John Baker IV; and her sisters-in-law, Edna Mollett of Colorado, Dot Ross of Belleville and Jane Heely of Trenton.
Memorials made in memory of Sis are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society and will be received at church or at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 East Hanover Street, New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
