It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis H. Toennies of Albers, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Darlene Billhartz and Marilyn Toennies. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Trankle; his children, Penny Etter (Craig) of Albers, Kim Skrob of Jackson, MO, Curt Toennies (Crissy) of Albers and Deron Toennies (Andrea) of Bartelso; his grandchildren, Casey Thole (Patrick), Adam Etter (Alycia), Alex Skrob (Grace), Dalton Skrob, Jacob, Mallory Toennies, Grace, Charlie and Sophie Toennies; his brother Ron Toennies (Sue); and his brother-in-law Danny Billhartz.
Memorials may be made to Mater Dei High School and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
