He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Bud" and Phyllis Bitler (Wierma); and his brothers, Greg, Bruce and Timmy.

He is survived by: his daughter Stormy Broome of Kennewick, WA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Triston and Tyler Broome; and his siblings, Dawn Snowden, Danny Harry (Meridee) and Brian (Vicky). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
