It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Gooch of Albany, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David R. Buikema and Sylvia B. Buikema (Burns); her husband Gary L. Gooch; her son Terry Gooch; and her brother-in-law Richard Naftzger.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Hesse (Michael) of Albany, Jody VenHuizen (Kevin) of Indianola, Danny Gooch (Kimberly) of Albany and Darrell Gooch (Sue Olsen) of Albany; her grandchildren, David Hesse (Brianna), Amy Nelson (Dustin), Beth DeBroeck, Joshua VenHuizen, Adam VenHuizen (Lena), Andrew VenHuizen, Matthew Gooch (Jamie), Aaron Gooch, Baylee Gooch, Trista Gregory (Justin) and Hailey Gooch (Bryan Lennox); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Aiden, Eli, Carter, Bentley, Kaiden, Lennox, Connor, Daxton, Amelia, Ian, Norah, Rilyn, Harrison, Hayden, Hudson and Hadley; and her sister Wanda Naftzger of Layton, UT..
