She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Carpenter and Betty Carpenter (Wolever); her husband Robert "Bob" Hovey; and her sisters, Cheryl and Lori.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Hovey of Morrison, John Hovey of Berwick, IL, James Hovey of Albany and Joseph Hovey (Sandy) of Erie; her grandchildren, Noah Hovey and Boston Howard; and her brothers, Steven Carpenter (Marjorie) of Albany and Jeffrey Carpenter (Nancy) of Erie.
