It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel P. Venhuizen (Albany, Illinois), born in Newton, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isaac Wierenga and Nellie Wierenga (Klimstra); her children, Chris Wilson of Albany, Bonnie Swedell (Lennie) of Adair, IL and Alfred Venhuizen (Vicki) of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, David Swedell and Steven Swedell (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Audrey and Blaine Swedell; her husband Fred; and her brother Howard Wierenga.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to Albany United Methodist Church or Albany Indian Mounds.
