He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Stuart and Arlene Mae Stuart (Balk). He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Ashley Yoder (Sam) and Kasie Swihart (Kristopher); his grandchildren, Soren, Roman, Gideon, Boden, Laine Yoder, Jacob, MaKenna and Peyton Swihart; and his siblings, Peg Wessels (Mike), Vince Stuart (Deb), Warren Stuart (Joy) and Kent Stuart (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established by the family.
