He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marvin Meier, Kenneth Meier and Doris Quakenbush. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his grandchildren, Jason (Michelle) of Indianapolis, IN, Isaac, Lucas, Ella and Abigail; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Meier of Dubuque, IA and Jean Meier of Madison, WI. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather, and throughout his life he was a father-figure to many children.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Albany United Methodist Church.
