He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Boggs and Nell Boggs (Green); his mother-in-law Marie Sullivan; and his daughter Billie Chavez. He is survived by: his children, Regina Meier (Mike) of Clinton, IA, Becky Wilkerson (Cliff) of Clinton, IA and Brian Schnell of Geneseo; and his grandchildren, Erica Martinez (Raul), Kate Sink, Colin Meier (Courtney), Cody Wilkerson, Billy Boggs-Chavez and Brenden Boggs-Chavez. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
