He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Gassman and Pauline Gassman. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, Ilyse Brownstein (Lee), Bonnie McNulty (Tom), Brooke Collins (Mike), Lauren Freedman (Michael), David Gassman, Brad Gassman and Tony Gassman (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Griffin, Payton, Justin, Hannah, Grace, Shane, Tyler, Emma, Devin, Jacob, Ben and Lily; his siblings, Linda Cohen (Mike), Marvin Gassman and Harold Cohen; his nieces and nephews, Gary Gassman, Bary Gassman (Heather), Nikki Golden (Andrew) and Jana Schwerring (Othy); his great-nephew Sam; and his great-nieces, Lily and Mila.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, 225 East Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL 60611 would be appreciated.
