He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rone and Shirley Ann Rone (Thomas); his granddaughter Addyson Rone; his brothers, Ricky Rone, Ronnie Rone and Roy Rone; his father-in-law Carl Dean Darnell; and his sister-in-law Amy Rone.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rone; his sons, Jason Rone (Amanda) of Benton, KY and Travis Rone of Akin, IL; his granddaughter Emma Rone; his siblings, Roberta Bayless (Jimmie) and Robert Wayne Rone; his mother-in-law Melba Darnell; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Link (Dave) and Keith Darnell (Bobbi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
