He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, Patrick Tait (Wendy), Ellen Romani (Rick), David Tait and Chris Liechti (Fred); his grandchildren, Christine, Eric, Lori, Tim (Tamzin), Brad, Becky, Kirsten (late Frank), Jesse (Shannon), Patricia, Bill, Danny, Jenny and Jeff (Tabby); his great grandchildren, Lily, Juniper, Dalton, Brittany and Garrett; and his nephews, Jim (Eva) and Bob (Katie).
