He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Zielske; his parents, Ella Zielske and William Zielske; and his brothers, Robert (late Jackie) and Ronald (late Maky).

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Zielske (late Gay), Paul Zielske (Christy), Eric Zielske, William Zielske Jr. and Krista (John Harris); his grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Alex, Philip, Billy (Beth), Anna and David; his great grandchild Wyatt; and his sister Rita Jenzen (late Gene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
