It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A Benson of Addison, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Jan; his children, Gayle Sterrett (Marty) and Debbi Raphael (Rick); his grandchildren, Heather Tushner (Jimmy), Ron Raphael (Jackie), Marty Sterrett Jr. (Pam), Jennifer Sterrett-Jarrett (Eric) and Patrick Sterrett; his great grandchildren, Ricky, Annika, Ava, Arika, Joey and Emma; and his siblings, Jean Bruhn (late Bob) and Lois Benson. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
