Princess Sampson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 89, Princess Sampson (Addison, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Princess shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Princess farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Aldean Adkins; her stepchildren, Peggy Sampson and Andy Sampson; and her grandson Clint Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ken Sampson; her children, Harvey Adkins (Judith), Cathy Maple, Connie Smith (Al), Anthony Adkins (Gigi), Vanessa Atkinson (Mike) and Cindy Adkins; and her stepdaughter Patty Maher (Dave).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Messiah Baptist Church (600 Villa Ave, Addison, IL 60101). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the same location.
