He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Jr. (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Kevin (June), Kim and Michael Deetjen (Claudia); his grandsons, Alex and Ben; and his siblings, William (Patti), Douglas Deetjen (Susan), Kay Miller (late Rocky) and James Deetjen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the visitation and interment will be limited to only (10) people at any given time.
