It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia S. Gerardi of Addison, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Patricia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patricia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joseph Gerardi, Peter Gerardi (Ann), Victor Gerardi (Kamila) and Teresa Jimenez (Victor); her grandchildren, Grace Gerardi, John Gerardi, Victor Jimenez and Anthony Gerardi; her parents, Joseph Pleta and Loretta Pleta; and also Vittorio Gerardi (Antoinette).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humes Funeral Home (320 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Church (1233 W Holtz Ave, Addison, IL 60101).
