Nick Zakos Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nick Zakos of Addison, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Maria Papageorge (Sam); his parents, Panagiotis Zakos and Evangelia Zakos; his siblings, Vasiliki Gregoropoulos (late Gregorios) and Elias (Chrisoula); and his siblings-in-law, Nicholas Iliopoulos (Soula) and Demetrios Iliopoulos (Patricia).

He is survived by: his wife Becky; his daughters, Angie Kapotas (George) and Christina Mallios (George); his grandchildren, Arianna, Sam, Ari, Yianni, Nicolette, Vasia and Nikolas; his siblings, Anastasia Kolovos (late George), Danny (Toula) and George (Kathy); his mother-in-law Christina Iliopoulos (late Antonios); and his brother-in-law George Iliopoulos (Olga).

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions everyone can attend the visitation during the one hour, but cannot remain in the church (restricted to only 10 people), everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
