She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward J. Skarbek; her children, Lynn Connelly (late John), Matthew Skarbek (Marilyn) and Andrew Skarbek; and her grandchildren, Lara Skarbek, Sabrina Skarbek and Grace Skarbek. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humes Funeral Home (320 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101). A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (1233 W Holtz Ave, Addison, IL 60101). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
