He was predeceased by: his parents, Benicia Mesa and Mauricio Mata. He is survived by: his wife Maria Oralia; and his children, Mario (Darlyn), Mary Elsa Fricot (Marquette), Belinda DuBose (David), Elizabeth (Dennis Mahoney), Mark (Teri) and Dina Oberman (Richard). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
