He is survived by: his spouse Ema Muñoz; his children, Jaime Muñoz Jr. (Mariluz) and Javier Muñoz; his grandson Erick David Muñoz; and his siblings, Porfirio (Maria), David, Raymundo, Arturo, Enrique, Laura, Elena, Sylvia and Sandra.
