Though Ivan may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Slava; his children, Ivanka Prots (Ruslan) and Viktor Romanyshak (Kristina); his grandchildren, Solomia, Oleksiy and Martha; and his siblings, Natalia Dydych, Volodymyr and Bohdan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humes Funeral Home (320 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101).
