He was predeceased by: his father Victor G. Shubert. He is survived by: his mother Alice Shubert of Lively Grove; his wife Amy Shubert of Lively Grove; his children, Eric Shubert of Chicago, IL, Erin Biggerstaff (Dave) of Aviston, IL, Lindsey Forbush (Wes) of Franklin, TN and Tess Schwartz (David) of Annandale, VA; his grandchildren, Addyson, Cameron, Sloane and Harper; and his brothers, Mark Shubert of Addieville, IL and Lowell Shubert (Carol) of Lively Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Peter Cemetery or to the Washington County EMA Search and Rescue Team and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
