He was predeceased by: his father John O. Riess; and his sister-in-law Kay Riess. He is survived by: his wife Linda K.; his children, Grant Riess (Rachael) of Bethalto, IL and Grace Riess (Josh) of Energy, IL; his mother Kathrine; his siblings, Mark, Paul, Larry Riess, Deanne Riess and Teresa Friederich (Dale); and his father-in-law Robert Wiedwilt (Beverly). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
