He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Martin and Nancy Jo Mitchell; his stepson Anthony Hillesheim; his stepbrother James Mitchell; and his grandparents, Charles, June Manion, James Roberts and Virginia Lee Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Manion of Addieville; his stepdaughter Jodi Hillesheim of Pontoon Beach, IL; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Hillesheim (Levi) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Karli, Aubri, Hayli, Gabriel, Trystan and Logan; his stepfather Ronald Mitchell of Belleville, IL; his siblings, Michelle Zendejas (Mani) of Melbourne, FL and Christopher Mitchell of Belleville; his half-sister Kelli Moreno (Craig) of California; his stepsisters, Sherri Connell (Wayne) of Parker, CO and Debbie Elliott (Dave) of Grand Junction, CO; his father-in-law James Hillesheim of Nashville; his brother-in-law Charles Hillesheim (Joannie) of Murphysboro, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Zachary (Alissa), Aaron (Sara), Benjamin (Taylor), Matthew, Hillary and Holly. He is also survived by 14 grand nephews and nieces; several cousin and other extended family, as well as many friends.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
