He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Rutledge and Frances Caspall Rutledge; his children, Jane Pittman and Kenny Rutledge; his son-in-law John Pittman; his great grandchild Lana Rutledge; and his brother Marvin Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Hammond; his children, Nancy Rutledge (Roy Evans) of Macomb and Craig Rutledge (Margo) of Adair; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Rutledge of Adair; his grandchildren, Erica Pellerin (Jason), Jeremy Rutledge (Lauren), Megan Pittman-Wurth (Barend), Lacie Walters (Kyle), Zachary Pittman (Jessica), Krista Herrin (Tim), Kolette Kirkenmeier (Chad) and Skyler Pittman; and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Wyatt Pellerin, Grady, Lucie, Kipten, Bronx Walters, Avery, Clayton Herrin, Caden, Charolette Kirkenmeier, Kenna, Sterling, Robert Lyndon Rutledge, Emese Wurth and Penelope Jane Pittman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to the New Salem Fire Department or the Adair Bandstand.
