He is survived by: his significant other Jalane Kelso; his children, Debby Herndon (Lee Tait) of Macomb, Jamie Jensen (Kenny) of Denver, CO and Jim Herndon (Shelly) of Adair; his nephew Scott Herndon of Macomb; his sister-in-law Sharon Kelso; his grandchildren, Kasey Herndon of Denver, CO, Ben Jensen of Baltimore, MD, Bailey Jensen of Denver, CO, Ashley Behymer (Eric) of Macomb, Chelsea Karlinski (Eddie) of Macomb, Cecily Dorsett of Rock Island, IL, Eli Doyle of Ipava, IL and Dawson Chenoweth of Adair; his siblings, Reta Denman and Donovan Herndon; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Kelso, Bob Denman and Marge Herndon.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Table Grove State Bank for the preservation of Pennington Point Cemetery.
