We bid farewell to Gail D. Shannon of Adair, Illinois, born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 11, 2024 at the age of 72. Gail touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gail touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Schinske and Ione Schinske (Hackbarth); her rabbit Black Jack; and also Kyle J. Shannon. She is survived by: her children, Shane, Shanlyn, Tiffany, Chad and Zachary. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
