With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Farris of Adair, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, June Farris and Vesta Martin Farris; and his siblings, Thomas, Austin, Raz, Gary Farris, Royce Holt, Lou Tester and Bobbie Coker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Farris of Adair; his children, Scott Farris (Dawn) of Adair, Todd Farris (Dawn) of Pekin, Michael Jones (Laura) of Oxford, MS and Candus Bratton (Tracy) of Oxford, MS; his siblings, Dwain Farris of Fairfield Bay, AR and Sherry Alman of Norfolk, AR; and his grandchildren, Alex Farris of Pekin, Eli Jones of Oxford, MS, Leah Treadwell of Cassville, MO, Brooke Ross of New Albany, MS and Heather Pruitt of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
