He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sloan and Grace Marie Sloan (Price); his stepdaughter Dana Nelson; and his siblings, Richard Sloan, Rose Speaker, Judy Williamson and Sandy Boyer.
He is survived by: his former wife Anita Dykeman; his wife Celia Sloan of Abingdon; his daughter Lianna Mastin (Tom) of Maquon; his grandchildren, James Dalton Ita and Addison Ita Jones; his stepchildren, Shad Hall of Polaski, Lane Hall, Allison Hall Martin, Grey McCoy and Logan McCoy; his son-in-law Jason Nelson of Delong; his grandchild-in-law Kinley Nelson; his brother Roy Sloan (Marie) of Colorado City; and his brother-in-law Bill Williamson of Big Spring.
Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice, Alzheimer's Association or to the Abingdon American Legion.
