She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Johnson and Ann Johnson (McCune); her brothers, Everett and Bob; and her daughter-in-law Donna Riggs.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard V. Riggs; her husband Richard "Dick" Simmons; her son Rod Riggs (Christy) of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Connor Riggs of Galesburg, Collin Riggs of Manhattan and Lauren Riggs of Brooklyn; and her sister-in-law Helen Johnson of Santa Fe. She is also survived by cousins and nephews.
