He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Olinger and Mary Louise Olinger (Nuckles); and his brothers, Dick and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Steve Olinger of Pekin, Don Olinger (Haydee) of Park Ridge, Teresa Allen (late Jerry) of Abingdon, Chris Olinger (Barb Brush) of Abingdon and Jody Way (Jack) of Abingdon; his sister Shirley Sparks (late Phil) of Abingdon; and his cousins, Marilyn Olinger, Linda Ryan, Lynne Skinner and Ronnie Nuckles. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial fund in Oly's name.
