He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard E. "Red" and Myrtle Malone (Landon); his former spouse Marlyn L. Kellogg; and his siblings, Timothy, Elbea, Kenneth, Richard, Willard, Dollie Brock and Mary Erwin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann; his children, Robert Malone (Terry) of Galesburg, Richard Malone (Jerri Lynn) of Abingdon and Kay Lynn Hart (Sam) of Granite City; his grandsons, Richard E. Malone (Tierra), Benjamin L. Malone, Matthew R. Malone, Mitchell A. Malone (Katie), Ryan S Hart (April) and Bryan T. Hart (Hannah); his stepchildren, Bruce Williams, Brad Williams and Michelle Williams; his stepgrandson Zachary Williams (Laura); his siblings, Dale Malone (Janet) of Abingdon, Donald Malone and Joyce Simms of Galesburg; and his sisters-in-law, Joann Malone and Juanita Malone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
