He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenneth and Florentine Ursala Bearce (Lubinski); his son Josh Bearce; and his siblings, Frank, William Jr., Robert Bearce, Jo Ulm, Bertie Ford, Betty Rhodes and Patty Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Curtis; his children, Stacy Bearce of Abingdon and Jeremy Bearce (Jeri) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Jordyn Courson (Tyler), Bryce DeJaynes (Robyn) and Chloe Bearce (Joe); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Cashius, Khloe, Clayton, Daxton and Kenna; and his siblings, Keith Bearce (Sharon) of Abingdon, Dorothy Wright of Oquawka, Barb Gardner (Jimmy) of Bloomington, Richanda Peters (Kevin) of Cameron, Maggie Hillery of Abingdon and Rita Hall (Mike) of Galesburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel (206 N Washington St, Abingdon, IL 61410). The military honors was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Abingdon Cemetery (501 W Memorial Dr, Abingdon, IL 61410).
