She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin G. McDermet and S. Marie McDermet (Plummer); her grandparents, William R. and Elva P. McDermet; her husband Robert Whitenack; her sister-in-law Gladys Barstow of Colorado; her sister Linda L. Mullis of Kentucky; and her sister-in-law Liz Mitzel of Florida. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
