He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil L. Skinner and Gladys I. Skinner (Powell); his former wife Martha Ann Watson; and his siblings, Ruby I. Steele, Kenneth L. Skinner and Paul Richard "Dick" Skinner.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Skinner of Wichita and Jonathan Skinner (Olga) of Fairbanks, Alaska; his wife Dorothy Wiltzius; his grandchildren, Zakary, Andrew, Tenley and Megan; and his siblings, Mary Tatman of Monmouth, Lawrence J. Skinner (Dorothy) of Spokane and Gene Skinner (Lynne) of Knoxville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
