He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Hook and Carrie Hook (Meador); his wife Betty Morris; and his brothers, Howard, Herbert, Leonard, Henry and Jesse Hook.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Hook (Lisa May) of Maquon, Illinois, Tamara McClure (Roger) of St Augustine and Tina Derry (Jeremy) of Abingdon, Illinois; his siblings, Robert Hook of Galesburg, John Hook (Bonnie) of Texas, David Hook (Doris) of Burlington, Iowa, Anna Homer of Monmouth and Donna Gray of Abingdon; his grandchildren, Randall, Ryan, Rachel, Aaron, Adam, Amanda, Chandler and Alyson; his great grandchildren, Maia, Hudson, Beckett, Isaac, Lillian, Christian and Luca; and his sisters, Eddie Lee Schisler, Ella Hook, Bessie Deppe and Bettie Phipps.
