It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hollis Palmer of Abingdon, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene E. Palmer and Hazel E. Palmer (Odiorne); his stepmother Maxine Palmer; and his daughter Tracy Jean Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Carol Harshbarger; his children, Chris Jacobs (Robert) of Whiteville, Mark Palmer (Jackie) of Galesburg and Ken Palmer (Susan) of St. Charles, Illinois; his grandchildren, Holly Hall (Keith), Steven Jacobs (Rachel) and Jacob Palmer; his great grandchildren, Adam LeClair, Christian LeClair and Reagan Jacobs; and his brother Floyd Palmer (Rose).
