It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Pica (Abingdon, Illinois), born in Leominster, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel "Gabe" and Florence Pica (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Way; his children, Kimera Padilla (Rich) of Springfield, Tolan Pica (Kym Tiffany) of Alexandria, Virginia, Kristan Pica (David Nelson) of Abingdon and Kindra Derry (Shawn Mazander) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Ashley Padilla, Katyn Pica-Johnson, Megan Mazander, Salvatore Pica, Mitchell Mazander, Antonia Derry, Aidan Derry and Gabriela Bryan; and his brother George Pica (Carol) of Washington. He is also survived by his wife & soul-mate, his children, and grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
