Gary L. Glisan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Gary L. Glisan of Abingdon, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer C. Glisan and C. Ada Glisan (Mohr); and his brother Leon. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McIlravy Peterson of Abingdon; his daughter Brenda Gustafson of Abingdon; his brothers, Richard Glisan (Vicky) of Galesburg, Charles Glisan (Ina) of Greenbush, Ed Glisan (late Patsy) of Abingdon and Wayne Glisan (late Cheryl) of Galva, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Heather Warren, Amber Dwyer, Joe Gustafson, Heather Gustafson and Sarah Gustafson. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Vern's name to either the Wounded Warrior Project or the Abingdon American Legion Honor Guard.
