He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris William and Irene Ann Miner (Sokolowski); and his sister Linda Buckus. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Miner, Christopher Miner of Champaign, Joseph Buckus of Indianapolis, Nolan Miner of Peoria, Illinois, Sierra Miner of Galesburg, Antonia Terhune of Champaign and Stefanie Cubson (Kelly) of Colorado; and his siblings, Bill Miner of Abingdon, Gale Miner (Susan) of Champaign, Tim Miner, Ronna Freed of Savoy, Christine Miner of Champaign and Janice Miner of Galesburg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinchliff - Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel (206 N Washington St, Abingdon, IL 61410-1463). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Abingdon Community Fall Festival or American Cancer Society.
