He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Bernard and Elsie M. Bernard; and his brother Danny Bernard. He is survived by: his former wife Jeri Galloway; his children, Dustin Atwood of Frisco and Brittany Chaney (Justin) of Wataga, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Carter, Jack, Jace and Mackenzie Chaney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
