With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles G. Shank (Abingdon, Illinois), who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Shank and Pauline Shank (Fitzpatrick); his wife Dixie L. Jones; his daughter Carla L. Gilfillan; and his sister Jacqueline C. Noel.
He is survived by: his son-in-law James L. Gilfillan; and his grandchildren, Brandon Gilfillan, Erin Gilfillan and Jacob Gilfillan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Abingdon American Legion Honor Guard.
