Allen Meyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Meyer (Abingdon, Illinois), born in Guttenberg, Iowa, who passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Meyer and Myrtle Meyer (Brown); his stepfather Elmer Fields; his grandson Hank Meyer; and his sisters, Dorothy, Donna and Janie.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Shaw; his children, Allen Meyer Jr. (Marilee) of Abingdon, Paul Meyer (Laurie) of Alpha, Rex Meyer (Patsy) of Gilson, Chris Meyer (Teri Dawn Harrison) of Abingdon, Julie Peak (Ed) of Abingdon, Dawn Presley (Tim) of Abingdon and Mary Fowler (Troy) of Abingdon; and his brothers, Leon Meyer (Joan) of Wisconsin and Robert Meyer of Iowa. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
