He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harrison Butler and Effie Marie Butler (Carrico); his former wife Helmi Huethala; his son Nick; his stepsons, Bryan Kelly Domer and Kevin LaVerne Domer; his sister Eleanor; his brother-in-law Harold Heady (Lillian Frances Butler); and his brother Doran Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Butler; his daughters, Anne Marie Smith (LaGrande) of Pocatello and Eleanor Kay Burbank (Mike) of Buhl, Idaho; his stepdaughters, Susan Marie Davis (Jacob) of Wellsville and Rebecca Dee Jenrick (Kelly) of Jerome, Idaho; his grandchildren, Theresa, Michael Hughes (Shannon), Amber Castillo (Dominick), Vance Burbank (Jeannie) and Gavin Burbank; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Butler (Diana), Arthur Butler (Stacy), Kent Heady (Celia), Robert Baker (Jeannie), Susan Marie Herman (Bob), Kathryn Arriola (Robert), Jill Turner, Mary Butler, Jane Nix (George) of Kennewick and Rebecca "Becky Sue" Knapp (David). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.
