It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Wert (Wendell, Idaho), who passed away on October 29, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Utoka and Mabel Merle Graham Wert; his wife Mildred; and his daughter Pam Fleming. He is survived by: his children, Phil Wert (June) and Melanie Mattix (Tom) of Wendell, Idaho; his grandchildren, Curt, Jerry, Wendy, Kathy, Stephanie, Daphney, Tiffani, Phillip, Bethany, Whitney, Bradley, Michael and Kelli; his siblings, Willabelle Campbell of Emmett, Idaho, John Wert (Jody) of Pine, Idaho and Loren Wert (Rita) of Wendell; his siblings-in-law, Maurine Parker and Bob Buchanan; his son-in-law Bill Fleming; and his friend MaryAnn Beorichia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and grandparents living close by in Nebraska and the annual Christmas Eve oyster stew tradition that continues to live on with his children, grandchildren and siblings.
