She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Brand and Sarah Brand; her brother Bob Brand; her husband Tony Ruffing; her great grandchild Ethan Connell Ruffing; and her close friend Ferol Boss.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Ruffing (Wendy), Glenna and Frank Ruffing (Diana). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
