He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Richard" Smith and Sibyl Smith; and his brother James Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Patti Smith; and his brothers, Robert Smith (Connie), Randy Smith (Terri), Greg Smith (Vicki) and Franklin Mather (Marcella). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
